In a date be met, and in a harsh land made of sand and dust, two men traveling as varied as a skilled gunman, Harlock, and a samurai, Tochiro. This place is called Gun Frontier, and the only rule is that there are laws to protect the weak, and that the strength and skill with the gun are the only weapons that allow you to survive. A bullet can make the dreams of men, but the bullet will break others. Everything depends on, by intelligence, courage and shrewdness of the men who inhabit this land border.
The journey of Harlock and Tochiro in these lands them in search of escaped of Samurai Creek, a town destroyed by Japanese immigrants.
During this trip Tochiro Harlock and meet Sinunora, a sad and mysterious woman, who continued with them. From that moment on, the trio will be overwhelmed by a series of events which will highlight their strength and their unity, to the point where they just seem to attract to himself the danger.
By addressing these dangers the two adventurers seek to understand the true intentions of Sinunora and what to do with their search for the escaped Samurai Creek.

In una data imprecisata, e in una terra selvaggia fatta di sabbia e polvere, viaggiano due uomini molto diversi tra loro: un abile pistolero, Harlock, e un samurai, Tochiro. Questo posto si chiama Gun Frontier, e la sua unica regola è che non ci sono leggi a tutela dei più deboli, e che la forza e l'abilità con la pistola sono le uniche armi che consentono di sopravvivere. Una pallottola può far realizzare i sogni degli uomini, ma la stessa pallottola ne spezzerà degli altri. Tutto dipende dall'abilità , dall'intelligenza, dal coraggio e dalla scaltrezza degli uomini che abitano questa terra di confine.
Il viaggio di Harlock e Tochiro in queste lande li porta alla ricerca degli scampati di Samurai Creek, una città di immigranti giapponesi distrutta dall'organizzazione.
Durante questo viaggio Harlock e Tochiro incontrano Sinunora, una donna triste e misteriosa, che prosegue con loro. Da quel momento in poi, il terzetto sarà travolto da una serie di avvenimenti, che metteranno in luce la loro forza e la loro unità , fino al punto in cui sembrano proprio loro ad attirare a sé il pericolo.
Affrontando questi pericoli i due avventurieri cercheranno di capire le vere intenzioni di Sinunora e cos'ha a che fare con la loro ricerca degli scampati di Samurai Creek.
